Met alleen de Little Bandit verschenen we aan de start bij de Eurocup wedstrijd op 20 juni in Made. De Light modified werd daar wel verreden maar op de zondag. Door middel van het schrapresultaat maakt het voor het kampioenschap niet uit dat we deze niet rijden. De mini’s gingen als derde klasse van start. Als eerste mocht de Riddle aftrappen, deze kwamen met een wilde run buiten de baan terecht. Maar dit was de proeftrek dus zij mochten later terugkomen en het nog een keer proberen. De Lambada 8, Lambada 9, Vampire en de Riddle (2e keer) behaalden een fullpull. Gelukkig maakte Couzijn de hooggespannen verwachtingen waar en deed hetzelfde! De Lambada 8 trapte de finale af met een afstand van 107.56 meter. Daarna was weer de beurt aan de Little Bandit, doordat deze veel moest remmen kwamen we niet verder als 95.88 meter. Door het grote verschil met de Lambada zaten we best een beetje in spanning of het ver genoeg zou zijn voor het podium. Maar uiteindelijk kwam de Riddle met 95.45 het dichtst bij en was de 2e plek vastgesteld! Wat zijn we ontzettend blij met deze podiumplek aangezien de Little Bandit nu 1e staat in de strijd om de Eurocup, met 11 punten los, en 1e in de strijd in de Nederlandse competitie. De Eurol Bandit staat, ondanks afwezigheid in Made, nog steeds 3e in Nederlandse competitie. De Eurol Bandit zal pas weer verschijnen in Putten, de thuiswedstrijd op 11 juli. Maar we vervelens ons zeker niet, deze aanstaande weken gaan we weer hard aan de slag met de mini om deze klaar te stomen voor de wedstrijd in Eext op zaterdag 4 juli!

With just the Little Bandit we arrived at the start of the Eurocup on the 20th of June in Made. The Light Modified was on the agenda there but on the Sunday. By means of the deleteresult it would not matter for the championship if we would not partake there. The mini’s were up as the third class of the day. First off was the Riddle, they had a wild run which ended outside the track. But this was a testpull so they could try again later. The Lambada 8, Lambada 9, Vampire and the Riddle (2nd time) had all gotten to the fullpull line. Luckily Couzijn exceeded all the high expectations and did the same! The Lambada 8 was first up in the final with a distance of 107.56 meters. After that it was up to the Little Bandit again, due to much braking we did not get further than 95.88 meters. Because of the big distance with Lambada 8 we were in a little suspense if this would be far enough for the trophy stage. But eventually the Riddle came closest with 95.45 meters and the 2nd place was secured. We are extremely happy with this place because the Little Bandit is now first in the standing for the Eurocup competition, ahead by 11 points, and first place in the Dutch competition. The Eurol Bandit, despite absence in made, is still 3rd in the Dutch competition. The Eurol Bandit will not compete until Putten, our home pull on the 11th of July. But we won’t get bored, the next couple of weeks we will work hard on the mini to get it ready for the pull in Eext on Saturday the 4th of July!
